Aisling B a is born on on 16 March, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. After playing bits in a variety of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sketches and sitcoms. In 2012, after winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she has become a fixture. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's one of the most popular contestants on the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. She was the only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide when Bea reached the age of three, was an sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his passing at the age of thirteen. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. The family was obsessed with races and horses. Bea began her career as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry wasn't for her.
